We’ve been learning about the letter Aa this week. Today we worked as a team to make our own applesauce. In school we’ve also been working on sequencing and ordering numbers. We talked about how 1st we need to wash the apples, 2nd we needed to cut the apples, 3rd put the apples in the crockpot, 4th add in sugar and water, 5th stir it, and finally eat it!

Christmas Stockings
We are busy getting our classroom ready for the Holiday Season! We decorated our Christmas stocking and then added some glitter to them! Enjoy the pictures!
Snowmen at Night
On Wednesday we read, Snowmen at Night. After reading that story we created our own snowmen and wrote a sentence about what we think snowmen do at night.

Writing Sight Words
Last week one group of students played a dice game. The students rolled the dice, depending on what number showed up...they had to write a certain sight word. Look at all of these words they are learning!
Thanksgiving In Our Classroom
During the week of Thanksgiving, we learned many things about Thanksgiving! We took a trip onto the Mayflower (through a video), we watched video clips and looked at pictures of what life was like when they first celebrated Thanksgiving, and we ever made Turkey Headbands! IPADS
On Wednesday we used the IPADS to work on the formation of numbers and letters. After we worked, the students were able to spend 10 minutes playing a shape game!
Centers
On Friday we did centers in the morning. Our four centers included: writing with shaving cream, listening to reading, letter game on smart board, and graphing & writing spider numbers as they rolled them on a die.
