Today we had someone knock on our classroom door and when we opened the door, we found a package! We opened it and it was an Elf on the Shelf. What a nice surprise! The gift included a book to read about our elf. It told us we had to name our elf and the class decided on Elf on The Shelf, Sneaky Rodger. Santa also gave us one rule for our elf- do not touch. If we touch it then it will lose its magic. The book explained that Magic's job is to watch us during the day and then fly to the North Pole at night to tell Santa what had happened at school that day. Then Magic will fly back to our classroom and watch from a different spot. I wonder where Magic will fly to next.
