Group one was working on beginning sounds with Mrs. Comstock
Group two was working on writing letters and sight words
Group three was working on seperating pictures into their beginning sound /m/, /t/, /h/
Group four worked as a team to complete all 26 candy corn puzzels! Looking for matching upper/lower case letters along with the picture that has the same beginning sound.
This afternoon the kids spent about 30 minutes practicing independent, partner, or listen to reading. These are three components of the Daily Five Program.

Today at WIN (What I Need) some of the students went on an Mm hunt in Magazines to glue onto their Moon. Another group worked on Rhyming Apps on the IPads. Here are a few photo's.
This week we have been focusing on the letter Mm and the sound it makes. Today we made Monkey Puppets! The students will be bringing home "Monstor Mop" tonight. Every child read me that book today, so I know they can read it to you!
